Center for AI Equity
& AccessAI as assistive technology

Your family’s experience matters

Share your story.

You are not alone. We have walked this road — and policy changes when the people writing it hear from the people living it. If your child was helped by an assistive tool — or hurt by a ban that could not tell the two machines apart — your story is evidence, and this Center exists to carry it into the rooms where decisions get made.

How it works

Write to us at info@centerforaiequity.org with the subject line Our story. Tell it in your own words, at any length. There is no form, because families do not come in form-shaped pieces.

A few things that help, if you have them: what your child needed, what tool or policy was involved, what the school said, and what happened next. First names or no names — entirely your choice.

What we will and will not do

We read everything. We will never publish your story, your name, or your child’s name without your written permission — and when stories inform our testimony or briefings, they are anonymized unless you ask otherwise. Your story stays yours. We are only asking to be allowed to carry it.
